EPI Master-Touch™ Family of thermal mass flow meters continues and greatly expands upon this legacy by adding a powerful microprocessor to proven thermal technology for an unparalleled degree of flexibility, accuracy, and control.EPI’s proprietary thermal mass flow sensors use two ratiometrically-matched, reference-grade platinum Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs). The platinum sensing element wire is wound on a ceramic base, given a thin protective glass coating, and encapsulated in a 316 stainless steel sheath. As a result, the only materials exposed to the gas stream are 316 SS.

This microprocessor based paddle flow meter utilises an 8 digit liquid crystal display (LCD) and provides the solution for economical, isolated monitoring locations as power is supplied by a long, two year life battery. Sturdy, compact, and water resistant allow these meters to be mounted outdoors.This paddle wheel flow meter with totalizer keeps a log of cumulative water use as well as instantaneous flow rate, when used in conjunction with the appropriate adapter, can monitor flows in pipes ranging in size from 12mm to 300mm. This system offers the simplest installation procedure and enables the flowmeter to be simply removed for cleaning or relocation.
